Discover Ireland's Hidden Heartlands famous Whiskey

To start off your day you will be picked up in your executive transport (BMW 520D/ Mercedes Viano, Sprinter or similar) from your hotel and then you will head out of the city for the west. You will have a whiskey specialist who will join you for the trip as your own personal guide who will bring the Irish whiskey story to life and give commentary on board. An hour down the road is the first stop at Kilbeggan Distillery.

Kilbeggan Distillery

This historic distillery truly gives you a flavour of what Irish whiskey making was like back when whiskey was on top of the world. You will be given the opportunity to try four different Irish whiskeys from the Kilbeggan Distillery range. You will also get the chance to see the new micro-distillery which opened in 2007.

Athlone and Ireland's Oldest Pub

The next stop is in one of Ireland's most authentic town which is Athlone. At this part of the tour you will be able to enjoy some free time in Athlone and we will book you a table and get you lunch at one of our best restaurants in town.

Once you have eaten, your host will take you to the oldest pub in Ireland - Sean's Bar. Here they have their very own whiskey brands which are very good. While you are there you will get to enjoy a tasting of Sean's Specially Blended & Single Malt Irish Whiskeys during the pub visit.

Tullamore Distillery

The final stop before heading back to Dublin is Tullamore D.E.W which is one of the biggest Irish whiskeys in the world. Here is where you will get a Premium Tour and Whiskey Wise Masterclass.

You will be back in your hotel for 6:30pm.
