Spread over two floors, the exhibition features over 20,000 historic manuscripts as well as rare books, beautiful paintings and native dresses from throughout the world. Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA)
Most exhibitions at the Irish Museum of Modern Art are free of charge. The line-up of who is being exhibited changes every few months so best do some advance research for who is on display at any given time. We recommend spending some time in the beautiful grounds, garden and medieval burial grounds during a visit here. The building that IMMA is housed in is the former site of The Royal Hospital in Dublin. Built back in 1680, the design was based upon the magnificent Les Invalides in Paris.

The Dead Zoo has some brilliant exhibitions on display with some 10,000 exhibits in total including a 20 metre long whale skeleton suspended from the roof and an opportunity to hold the skulls of a badger and a pilot whale.
