Ghostbus Tour
The original Ghostbus Tour is back and better than ever. Explore the darker side of Dublin with this one-of-a-kind haunted house on wheels that will have you on edge throughout. Brilliant for those who love the eerie or spooky aspect of things.
Visit graveyards that are said to be haunted and you can even find out what its like to be buried alive! The tour is based on true stories and Dublin folklore, it is a great night out of entertainment.

Púca Festival
This is running from October 29 - November 1 and there are a series of events and things going on surrounding these great four days of fun. There is everything from musicians, fire shows, Halloween themed bingo, markets and much more.
This takes place in both Trim and Athboy and some featured artists that will be performing across the festival are The Coronas with support from Róisín O, Hothouse Flowers, Jerry Fish and Qween & the Dublin Gospel Choir. A lot of these are ticketed events so make sure to get tickets.
Other activities going on are:
- Púca Procession – A lively parade through Trim with music, drumming and fire.
- Samhain Fire – Watch the ancient Samhain fire being lit in Athboy.
- Fire Shows – Enjoy spectacular fire and aerial performances at Trim Castle and Athboy Fairgreen.
- Púca Trail – Explore Trim while hearing spooky stories and tales of the supernatural.
- Púca Markets – Pick up food, crafts and gifts while enjoying the Halloween atmosphere.
- Samhain Circus – Enjoy circus shows and fun workshops for all ages.
- Heritage & Folklore – Discover the history of Tlachtga through tours, storytelling, foraging and workshops.

Bram Stoker Festival
Similarly, to the Púca festival it is on between the 23-26 October. Four full days of Halloween fun and excitement in the heart of the city. There will be plenty happening throughout the festival, with spooky events, gothic performances, storytelling, family activities and plenty of Halloween entertainment taking place around Dublin.
Interested in hearing some spooky stories? Marsh’s Library in St. Patrick’s Close is the place for you. The author of Dracula, Bram Stoker himself has a desk where you can still sit at to this day. You will also hear about the ancient Egyptian mummy that is in the Dublin Library. There is all this and much more going on around the city for Bram Stoker festival. The full 2026 programme is still to be announced, so keep an eye out for more events and activities as they are revealed.

Retro Drive-in Halloween Movies
Retro Drive-In is back at Leopardstown Racecourse this October, giving you the chance to enjoy some classic Halloween films from the comfort of your own car. There is a mix of family favourites and horror films, with screenings including:

- Scream
- Jeepers Creepers
- Carrie
- The Amityville Horror

Malahide Castle: Diabolical Dorothy’s Dreadful Brew
The much-loved Fairy Trail at Malahide Castle gets a spooky makeover this Halloween as it transforms into The Haunted Trail. This family-friendly experience is designed with younger children in mind, with a 1km outdoor trail filled with spooky decorations, costumed characters and interactive activities.
Kids are encouraged to come along in their Halloween costumes and explore the trail while enjoying all the spooky surprises along the way. It is designed to be more spooky than scary, making it a great option for families looking for something fun to do over the mid-term break.
The Haunted Trail is returning to Malahide Castle & Gardens in October 2026. Keep an eye out for the release of the exact dates and times, and book ahead once tickets become available as capacity is limited.

Original Dublin Haunted Tour
The Original Dublin Haunted Tour is a 2-hour walking tour exploring some of the darker stories from Dublin's past. Starting in Temple Bar, the tour takes you through Dublin's southside before finishing at St Stephen's Green. Along the way, you'll hear about everything from medieval crime, grave robbers and body snatchers to the Hellfire Club, witchcraft, serial killers and poltergeists. Dublin by Dusk at EPIC
EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is getting into the Halloween spirit this October with Dublin by Dusk, a special late opening on 29 October 2026. It gives visitors the chance to explore the museum after dark and experience EPIC in a different atmosphere. The museum is located in Dublin's Docklands in the CHQ Building and is a great option for anyone looking to mix Irish history with a Halloween-themed evening.
EPIC also offers its immersive museum experience throughout the year, where visitors can explore Irish history, culture and stories through interactive exhibits.
