Walled gardens at Farmleigh Estate

Other highlights of the garden include the clock tower which has become a well known landmark along with the local saying “Mister Guinness has a clock, And on its top a weathercock, To show the people Castleknock”. It's believed that the engineering department of the Guinness brewery was responsible for constructing the Tower. On a clear day, the balcony views of Malahide in the north to Dun Loaghaire and the Dublin mountains in the south, with Maynooth to the west can be gained.

The fountain lawn is the focal point of the grounds and adds elegance to the inviting space. The fountain's size and placement suggest a French influence and resemble similar features seen at Ashford Castle.

The estates walled gardens are another mus-visit area of the park, with broad walkway and yew hedges it is the picture perfect setting for embracing the great outdoors.
