This is the oldest and largest bar in Dublin. Opening 8 years before the decimalisation of being gay in Ireland. The George is a warm and friendly nightclub with an electrifying atmosphere That attracts all age ranges. Every night there is a show performed by the finest drag queens Ireland has to offer which includes fun activities such as dancing competitionsand karaoke! For anyone coming to Dublin and wishes to experience the gay Irish nightlife scene, visiting the George is an absolute must! The George open daily with and admission fee of €10 after 10 on the weekend. Pantibar

Pantibar is cosy bar in Dublin with a welcoming atmosphere. During the week days it runs as a cosy little bar but on the weekend it transforms into an electrifying place to party. It plays all kinds of music ranging from current hits to the best songs of the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s! The drag shows performed here well renowned as is the friendly staff here and their sensational cocktails! It can be guaranteed that any night out in Pantibar will be a night well spent! The Hub

Although The Hub isn’t a gay bar itself it has started running gay events monthly that have become legendary to the Irish LGBTQ+ community. It hosts events such as PrHomo / Disco Baby that serves cheap drinks and plays a great selection of music ranging from pop, hip hop and 80’s hits. It attracts a young crowd and you can find drinks for a great price here! It also hosts an event called Spinster catered more towards the Lesbian scene in Dublin, like PrHomo you can find great music and prices for drinks here and a night spent in the Hub will be a great night to be remembered. There is an admission fee for both events and it is located on 23 Eustace St, in Temple Bar. Hop off the tour at the Temple Bar stop or you can get there on Dublin Bus routes 83 & 140. Street 66

Street 66 is a warm gay friendly bar in Dublin, it is the choice for those looking to just have a nice drink and chat. It split into two rooms, one being a relaxing bar to have a drink and the other is a large dancefloor to dance all night. For any gin lovers Street 66 is the place to be as specialise in making exquisite gin cocktails and drinks! Street 66 attracts people of all ages and plays the current hits in music as well as hits from the 80’s that are guaranteed to make the atmosphere lively and enjoyable! You can often find Ireland’s very best drag queens performing here giving electrifyingly fun performances! It is located on 33-34 Parliament St. in Temple Bar, which can be accessed via the Temple Bar stop on the Hop on Hop off tour, or on Dublin Bus routes 25, 26, 66 & 67 to Temple Bar. Mother

For those looking for a unique experience when on a night out in the LGBTQ+ nightlife scene in Dublin should look towards Mother. Mother is an event hosted in the Hub like PrHomo and Spinster. Mother celebrates old school club nights and disco music, it has an exhilarating atmosphere that must be experienced. It has even been the stage for iconic international and national performers such as Grace Jones and Róisín Murphy. Mother is held every Saturday, being opened and Closes late (11pm-3.30am). The location of Mother is the same as Prhomo & Spinster on 23 Eustace St, in Temple Bar and can be accessed again from the Temple Bar stop on the Hop on Hop off tour, or via Dublin Bus routes 83 & 140. EUPHORIA

For those who enjoy techno music and wish to enjoy it in a LGBTQ+ safe environment should go to EUPHORIA. EUPHORIA celebrates the best of Irish and international DJ’s, who come together to create an intensely fun and lively atmosphere! It is a great place to bring large groups for a night out and the drinks are reasonably priced. The event is in the Button Factory monthly on a Friday. It also opens late and closes late (11pm-3am). The Button Factory is located on 2 Curved St, Temple Bar. This is accessible via through Dublin Bus routes 25, 26, 66 & 67 to Temple Bar.
