Things to do in the Storehouse
The entrance to the Guinness Storehouse can be found Saint James's Gate, stop number 22 of your DoDublin Hop on Hop off Tour. The Storehouse has a total of seven floors with the top floor being the world famous Gravity Bar where you can enjoy your very own pint of the black stuff. The storehouse is open 9am to 6pm Monday to Sunday.
Here you’ll learn all about the story of Ireland’s most famous porter. From the story of the founder Arthur Guinness to how Guinness is made learn it all in this informative section of the storehouse. Get an insight into how Guinness has traveled around the world from its maiden voyage in 1769. Also find out the secret to what makes a perfect pint and what goes into that famous pint of the black stuff. And who could forget The World of Advertising Exhibit where you’ll see the famous commercials that we’ve all come to know and love.

Take a trip down memory lane and see how Guinness' advertising campaign has grown since their first in 1929 to the award winning marketing campaigns they run today.
For every Guinness lover out there the Guinness Retail Store is a must on every visit to the storehouse. From t-shirts to their Guinness flavoured chocolate they really have it all covered. Also who needs wine tasting when you’ve got Guinness tasting? Bring the smooth taste of Guinness to life with this multi-sensory tasting session. Of course then you get to try something you’ll never forget in the Guinness academy. Pour your very own pint from the first pour to the eventual settle. It’s not as easy as you think!
With four cafés and restaurants in the storehouse you really are spoiled for choice on where to grab a bite to eat. The Cooperage Café is an elegant modern Irish Café with a twist. It’s surrounded by Barrels elegant barrels of the black stuff. The only difference between Arthur’s Bar and the typical Dublin Pub is the breath taking views of the city. A great bar where you get to taste the difference crafts of the Guinness Company. The 1837 Bar and Brasserie is certainly one of the places to be for a bite to eat with full course meals available that perfectly complement your pint. The Brewers’ dining Hall was inspired by the old canteen for Guinness workers in Saint James’s Gate. With some tasty selections on offer don’t be surprised to find something with a Guinness twist.
