Significantly located in Christ Church, at the very spot where Viking settlements were in Dublin, visitors to Dublinia will travel back in time and discover what the city was like to live in during Viking times. You will discover what life was like on-board the Viking ships, and get to know what it was like to be a Viking warrior.
Experience the sights, sounds and smells of Dublin as it was in Medieval times, and learn about crime and punishment, death and disease and even toothache remedies of 700 years ago. Enjoy the medieval fair, find out how to play medieval games, and walk along a bustling Medieval street.
At Dublinia, you will uncover some of Dublin’s rich past. Discover how modern day Dubliners are influenced by our Viking and medieval past. You will see historic artefacts found in Dublin’s Wood Quay excavations – Wood Quay is just a stone’s throw from Dublinia.
See the city from a different perspecive by climbing the original Medieval tower and you will have stunning views around Dublin.

Dublinia Tickets
At Dublinia, there are many ticket types available - Adult (€12.00), Student / Senior (€11.00), Child (4 - 12) (€7.00), Family (2 adults + 2 children) (€30.00). Additional children €5.00.
As an added bonus to your visit, Dublinia offer a tour of the exhibition. This happens once a day from Monday to Sunday at 2.30pm. This is free of charge with your admission price. Daily tours can include a visit through Viking or Medieval Dublin, or a trip up St.Michael’s Tower on our special Skyline tour.

Where is Dublinia located?
Dublinia is located in Christ Church in Dublin City, a short walk from Dame Street and Temple Bar.

Walk
From Trinity College Dublin, Dublinia is 950m walking distance - this is a 12 minute walk approx. (On the way, we suggest stopping by the beautiful Chester Beatty Library).

Cycle
Getting to Dublinia by bike is relatively easy. If you're using a Dublin Bike, there is a bike stand at Christ Church Place.
