Meet another side of Tyrone, one of DoDublin’s local driver-guides.

When Tyrone isn’t behind the wheel entertaining visitors with Dublin stories, local history and live commentary, he’s also a poet and performer. His work draws inspiration from Dublin’s people, pubs, characters and stories — many of the same things that make his tours memorable.

The Story of Ned O’Shea

One of Tyrone’s pieces celebrates Ned O’Shea, a well-known Dublin character associated with O’Shea’s pub. The original print of Tyrone’s poem hangs in the pub itself.

Visitors travelling on the DoDublin Hop-on Hop-off Tour can discover more of Dublin’s local stories and neighbourhoods along the route.
