Adventures In Dublin

Coming to Dublin? You’ll find a city with a more adventurous side than you thought (And that’s not the Temple Bar adventures). Dublin is a city brimming with ancient legends of Ireland, bursting with history and packed with literary history. There’s so much to look at around every corner — from the green spaces of Georgian Squares, to the historic Book of Kells in Trinity College, and the stunning architecture of the city centre. Also check out our Freedom Card to explore and sightsee Dublin using the extensive transport systems.

But as every traveller knows, there’s a time for sightseeing and a time for doing, a moment for learning and observing, and a moment for raising the tempo and springing into action...

To truly get under the surface of the city, and to see the city like a local, you have to seize the opportunity and plan an adventure in Dublin to suit you. Whether it’s blazing a trail cycling down Ticknock Mountain, or experiencing the vast wilderness on a relaxing walk in the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains, or even making a splash in the River Liffey in the heart of the city, Dublin has something for the adventurer in all of us!

So glance upwards as you kayak under the Ha’penny Bridge, grit your teeth as you cycle over cobblestones — DoDublin have highlighted just some of the amazing extreme adventure experiences to help you make the most of your holiday in Dublin.
