Want to see the best of Dublin but are stuck for time? Don’t stress we have put together the perfect day in Dublin for you to make the most of the few hours you may have to spend exploring our wonderful city. Although Dublin is known for its lively pubs and cobbled streets, it also has a breathtaking coastline only 20 minutes from the centre of the city. We have combined both sides of Dublin into this one day itinerary to ensure you experience it all.

Start your day off with a trip by boat to Howth, A coastal village only a short journey from the city centre. The coastal cruise will take you along the coast of Dublin, showing you views such as the Howth Cliffs, Ireland's Eye and Lambay Island all while having a bar on board. After this tour you will be dropped off at the starting location, where you can make your way back to the city centre using the dart.

Once you arrive back to the city you can walk to O’Connell Street where you will find the Do Dublin Hop on Hop off Bus. This bus is the perfect way to see the most of the city in s short period of time. For those who are stuck for time, the tour lasts 1hour 45 minutes if you stay on for the full duration of the tour without hopping off. During this time, you will learn all about the history of Dublin while also getting some true Irish entertainment from one of the amazing tour drivers.

For those who have a bit more time on your hands, we have plenty in store for you! Starting off by hopping off at stop number 4 where you can visit several attractions all just a short walk from each other. The National Library of Ireland, Archaeology Museum and Trinity College can all be visited from this stop and they are the perfect activity for those interested in history and culture.

After you have finished exploring these attractions and have hopped back onto the bus we can move onto the next stop of the day which is stop number 17 James’s Street. This stop is perfect for the whiskey lovers as it leaves you just outside Teeling’s whiskey distillery. There are several tours you can do here, all of which are amazing experiences, even if you aren’t the biggest whiskey lover.

If that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, wait until stop 20 where you can get off and explore The Phoenix Park. This is the perfect relaxing activity where you can move at your own pace while exploring the beautiful nature and wildlife that live within the grounds. Dublin Zoo is also located in Phoenix Park, an amazing experience with animals ranging from elephants and giraffes to crocodiles and sea lions.
