For all of us of us, it depends on what you like, some of us prefer outdoor attractions and some of us prefer indoor attractions or we may like more culture related spots or sports related. We know with the order of our list, some is obvious but others are impossible to agree on but we are sure it is the most comprehensive list and we put it together for Dubliners so it is a list from Dubliners to Dubliners. We have grouped some cultural indoor things to do along with free attractions and activities and some are landmarks and some are hidden gems.

Free Things to Do in Dublin

Dublin has a great range of free things to do if you don't want to 'break the bank'. A lot of the museums in Dublin have no admission fee and is a fantastic way to learn about different aspects of history with unique artefacts & exhibitions. Not only are some museums free but the scenic landscape that is in Dublin and the surrounding areas is gorgeous and it is right on your doorstep!

  • Phoenix Park (and the deer)

Spend time in one of Europe’s largest city parks and spot the famous wild deer. It’s ideal for walking, cycling, or simply relaxing. You know that big green blob on Google Maps which is messing up your daily commute? When you are not commuting, weather providing as it is Ireland, go there and you you will be surprised at the the beauty of Ireland's largest park. You can release your inner child by flying a kite, stroll around the acres of greenery and if you wish there is Dublin Zoo (which unfortunately has an admission fee) but you can purchase your Dublin Zoo tickets with us!
